Mercer Island Wolf Appliance Repair is an independent repair company. We do not cover the whole of King County and we do not fix everything in the kitchen — the narrowness is the point.
Why the service area is so small
A company that covers two counties spends its day on the road between them. We cover one island: four neighbourhoods, one route, and nothing beyond the shoreline. That keeps the working day on the units rather than on the road, which is the whole reason for drawing the line where the water is.
Why only Wolf
Wolf platforms have their own failure patterns, their own error codes and their own parts logic — a control board or a burner valve is specific to a model and serial, not interchangeable across the range. Working on one manufacturer means the service data we read from is always the right family, and the part we order is matched to the serial on the rating plate rather than to a near-miss.
What we will not do
- Quote a repair over the phone. A symptom narrows the fault; it does not identify it.
- Replace an assembly when one component inside it is at fault, unless the component is genuinely unavailable separately.
- Take on a warranty repair that Wolf should be doing for you at no cost. If your unit is in warranty we will say so and tell you to call them.
- Recommend a replacement appliance. We do not sell them, so it is not our call to make.
What the visit costs
One flat $89 visit pays for the trip out and the whole diagnosis, and the $89 is deducted from the repair if you approve it.
Past the visit, work with a published band is priced inside it, and each band is a range, never a single figure; work without one is quoted in writing after the diagnosis. You get one written figure for parts and labour before anything is ordered, and nothing is ordered until you approve it.
When we work, and when the phone is answered
We keep bench hours on Mercer Island of 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days, and every visit falls inside them. The phone is staffed 24/7: a failure at three in the morning reaches a person rather than a recording, who books you into the first bench hours that suit.
